Meta’s Agency of Record for Creators

In 2021, Facebook launched “Bulletin,” a publishing platform built to empower independent writers and creators by giving them tools to share their work, build communities, and monetize their audiences — all without the need for a separate website.

Positioned as a competitor to platforms like Substack, Bulletin attracted a roster of high-profile names, from best-selling authors to celebrities and public intellectuals. Unlike open networks, Bulletin offered a curated, more exclusive environment with direct integration into Facebook’s ecosystem. Although the platform officially shut down in 2022, it represented a bold step into the creator economy.

Top Hat was selected by Facebook as the agency of record for branding Bulletin’s creators, helping to establish visual identities and brand narratives for some of the biggest names on the platform. Working with notable authors, TV personalities, and thought leaders, we developed brand systems that allowed each creator to stand out while fitting seamlessly into the Bulletin experience.

Below represents just a snapshot of our work. While working on behalf of Meta for Bulletin creators we produced over 100 complete brand sets.
