Meet Reuben’s Brews, Top Hat’s Latest Craft Beer Client Repping the Pacific Northwest
You may have already met.
But if you haven’t, we’re excited to introduce you to Reuben’s Brews, our newest beer client hailing from the epicenter of Seattle’s craft beer scene.
Reuben’s has hired Top Hat for a refresh, including an evolution of the logo, bottle and can art for their ambitious calendar of beers.
The project is the brewery’s latest step in refining their vision and expanding reach as they build up what’s already a wildly popular and beloved brand.
About Reuben’s Brews
Reuben’s Brews was founded in 2012 by husband and wife team, Adam and Grace, at the north end of Ballard — Seattle’s beer neighborhood featuring over twelve breweries including Lagunitas and Lucky Envelope.
Today, Reuben’s has 24 original beers on tap at any given time, and the selection is always rotating. Just recently, they’ve started on ciders.
Their latest big move — opening The Brewtap at Reuben’s Brews, a taproom to fit even more patrons just a 5 minute walk from the flagship brewery — is indicative of the success of their beers.
By the numbers,
- Reuben’s beer has won awards around the world, including at the World Beer Cup and the US Open.
- They’ve racked up over 200 medals, taking the gold at three of the last four Great American Beer Festivals.
- They were named Mid-Sized Brewery of the Year at the 2015 Washington Beer Awards.
Who’s Reuben?
In fact, the growing brewery is named after the founders’ son. Co-founder and Reuben’s mama, Grace, jokes on their website:
“Although only a month old at the time, our clever, thoughtful son, Reuben, came up with the idea of giving [co-founder] Adam a homebrewing kit for his birthday.”
The rest, clearly, is history.
What we love about Reuben’s
On a recent trip to their Seattle brewhouse, the team made a point to visit Reuben’s as secret shoppers — checking out the sights, sounds, tastes and vibe of their space before meeting with the team and diving into the work. It was immediately clear that Reuben’s is a place for everyone: people and their families, friends, kids and dogs. We even a̶c̶c̶i̶d̶e̶n̶t̶a̶l̶l̶y̶ ̶s̶t̶o̶l̶e̶ asked to borrow someone’s board game and made a few buds.
Medals are just medals if the people don’t care for the beer. But the beer drinkers of Seattle love Reuben’s beer, atmosphere and owners — and it shows. That’s a cause we’re excited to be a part of.
Don’t miss.
