DoInbound is a critically acclaimed process and project management software built for agencies. Beyond its unique process-driven structure, the SaaS company is known for the DoInbound Learning Center. Here, they serve up fresh-squeezed content back-boned by a podcast network dedicated to helping agencies run better.
One of these podcasts is the Happy Client Show, which is dedicated to helping agencies lead smoother, more fulfilling client relationships.
So who better to join the fun for the fourth season than our very own client services director?
This season, Ben and Andrew will be diving into how to prime the pump for more fruitful client communication. In their eyes, communication, and overcommunication specifically, is the key to successful client/agency relationships.
The two take an approach that puts the client as the hero of the story. It also puts the bulk of responsibility on the agency for determining how successful the relationship will ultimately be.
“Too often agencies point the finger at clients,” says Ben. “‘They say they’re terrible and a nightmare because of x, y and z. The reality? Those very same agencies are not walk in the park. An agency must be prepared to guide a client through a journey. That’s their responsibility. If they don’t, they should expect anything but chaos.”
