Wesley Schools is an extension of the Wesley Family Services umbrella.
With it, necessitated a new site with its own information for a different audience of students and parents.
Content organization, and ease of use, were keys to empowering the WFS team to have their Content Independence®.
WordPress, as always in the right hands, made the perfect platform to build an intuitive management framework.
Creating Content Independence®
The goal of Content Independence® is to deliver a bespoke designed website, while allowing the client to manage it without development support.
It involves designing the page templates and then condensing them into a Page Builder of all of those components.
Unlike traditional WordPress template builders, this approach tailors it exactly for what the organization needs, rather than thousands of common users.
The end result is faster loading and easier to manage in the long run.
Everything you can see on this site is fully manageable, with deeper organization to separate by school for ease of use.
Global Options for School-wide Announcements, Navigation, and More
The site leverages several common components, like a Call to Action block. It’s managed in one place and instantly updates that content on all pages.
We also built a global announcement pop-up for things like school closures. Again, all managed in one place for the whole site.
