We completed a comprehensive rebrand for Hobbs Brewing Co back in 2020. The effort evolved their full brand and packaging system.
In the spirit of integration, we expanded the brand to the digital realm. The site was rooted in the core packaging concept: splitting things in half.
Although it was a spectacular, award-winning UI, over time we learned something very important: the actual customers of Hobbs Brewing Co. were having trouble using it.
As a tourist destination with multiple locations in New Hampshire and Belize, the information needed better organized for the on-the-go traveler.
So we were happy to dive back in with our pals at Hobbs to give the people what they wanted: direct access to food and beer.
The site became A New Frontier for Craft Beer.
To help people route immediately to their destination, we anchored the locations directly below the fold on the home page.
This new area created a quick navigation to the place, and the associated menus.
Since we launched the initial site, Hobbs’ portfolio and distribution footprint increased.
We created an organized beer page to highlight the categories of beer, their availability, as well as the Hobbs Belize products.
Breweries utilize Facebook events to spread the word about upcoming happenings.
We built a custom integration with Facebook’s Event API to automatically sync events and prevent double work.
The site also allows the Hobbs team to add custom events through WordPress, which are ordered appropriately by date.
The integration also is able to pull from their various locations, tagging and ordering them per location tag in the process for quick filtering on-site.
Finally, to keep the latest products flowing from Hobbs’ Shopify subdomain without double work, we integrated into it.
The home page refreshes every 15 minutes with the latest goods.
